VESSELS (ONBOARD FERRY POSITIONS)

Interstate Navigation Company (Block Island Ferry) is now accepting applications for deckhands for Winter and Spring/Summer 2022. We will have full and part time positions available on the passenger/vehicle ferry and the high-speed ferry vessels. Applicants must be 18 years of age and must submit to pre-employment USCG/DOT drug screening. Applicants must also be reliable, present a neat & clean appearance and possess a good customer service attitude. Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Applicants seeking future full time and seasonal employment are also being accepted for the following positions:

Deckhand
Mate (licensed)
Engineer (unlicensed)
General Laborer/Painters

Interstate Navigation Company operates traditional passenger/vehicle ferry vessels between Point Judith and Block Island, R.I. Interstate also operates (2) high speed ferry vessels, one from Point Judith, and one from Newport and Block Island.
